To become skilled in any new endeavour, you’ve got to put the time in to developing competence first. Over time, that competence will become Mastery. So what is the first thing you need to know? Patience is the key ingredient that you must possess when you begin your journey as you’ll need to allow yourself the opportunity for some ‘practice time’.

After all, if you want to create changes in your life, the first thing you need to do is make changes to your habits and behaviours! You see, your brain needs to acquire enough experience to reach the state that will assist you in consciously applying the Law of Attraction whenever you need it.

 

STAY WITH IT

Remember that if you quit too early, you’ll never finish the movement from novice to expert, and the expert level is where you’ll get the biggest “payoff” in terms of quicker and smoother manifestation of your desires.

If you hear people talk about how easy it is to make the Law of Attraction work for you, take it with a grain of salt. Yes, the principles of the Law of Attraction are very, very simple. Mastering them however, isn’t easy. Here’s why: it’s difficult to change your habits of thought at a subconscious level. You must practice, bring awareness, stay committed and keep your intention strong. This is like developing an entirely new set of muscles – mental and emotional muscles – which you’ve never worked with before. There is simply no quick fix.

You also need to understand that ‘failure’ is, in a sense, a part of the process of success. So if you begin working with your inner most thoughts, in order to make radical changes in your habits and patterns, you can expect some relapses under stress.

This is all normal. Its how we learn. Consider a child learning how to walk. How many wobbly falls does the average toddler have before they can walk without falling? Probably hundreds!

In short, the images of success and failures are not opposites. If you fail, it means you’re making a move, so you’re committing errors and preparing yourself. Success happens by nature once you learn how to take the right action.

Be tolerant and patient with yourself as you experience failure. When you’re seeking a goal that you genuinely want, the kind of goal that has the power to bring you to tears when you think of it, that’s the one you need to persevere in

your efforts to achieve it. In fact, your perseverance alone is a message to the universe that you are committed. Indeed, no matter what the goal is, by staying committed you are actually “working the law” in your favour.

Try not to press yourself to make huge success at the beginning. Simply do the best you can. At the beginning, your best might be barely one notch above what you’ve already been doing. That will change in time, once you acquire basic competence.

Further down the road, people will see you as an authority – someone who failed enough to win at getting what they want. It’s wonderfully inspiring seeing people fight through one failure after the other without quitting. Looking at it from the outside, it can sometimes look foolish…right up until they make the success that catapults them to their dreams.

Thomas Edison is the perfect example for this chapter and what we are trying to get across. He of course is famous for inventing the light bulb and his name today is synonymous with brilliance and success. Yet, what few people realise is that he tried to create that lightbulb 10 000 times. Yes, you read that right – TEN THOUSAND TIMES before he got it right. But got it right, he did. When he was once about those 10 000 attempts, Edison did not see them as ‘failures’ at all. He simply said, “I just found 10 000 ways not to create a lightbulb.

The thing that all successful people share in common is that they keep going – even in the face of failure. If you know that you want more out of your life, you simply must keep going. You may not be able to see physical proof right now, but what you want is on it’s way. With perseverance and a willingness to believe its possible, you are beginning the right way.

When you understand the principle that success takes time, then you are able to free yourself of the simple and fast, something-for-nothing attitude; that how you know you are on the right track.  Hold strong to your vision, work hard, and understand that your commitment will pay off in the end.

CHAPTER 1

WHAT IS THE LAW OF ATTRACTION AND H0W DID IT BEGIN?

The things that we are attracted to reveal a lot about us. Indeed, our lives are the result of our consistent and repeated thoughts and attractions over time. At this very moment, you are the sum total of your preceding thoughts and attractions.

This amazing fact actually gives us the power to create precisely what we want in life, as long as we use this power consciously. Used unconsciously , you will simply manifest things “by default”. So if you focus your mind on what worries and bothers you, if you find yourself attracted to ideas, events and people who are immersed in trauma and drama, you will create exactly this for your own life – whether you like it or not, or want it or not.

So how did it all begin? Just like the other Laws of the Universe, such as gravity, the Law of Attraction began within the origins of the universe itself. It is now possible for anyone and everyone to create a ‘life by design’ once they fully understand and apply the Law of Attraction correctly. Our ancestors never got to enjoy the Law of Attraction, although there have been a few wisdom keepers along the way such as Metaphysical Masters, Shamans and Healers who knew of this law and practiced it.

Being able to harness this power to work us, one must first understand how it actually works and then begin consciously and consistently working with it. Mr Mia likes to refer to this as being a power puller. To be a power puller you begin by focusing on the end goal – the object, experience, or opportunity you are desiring. The more focused we are toward what we wish for, the speedier “the how” to obtain what we want will follow.

Today, Mr Mia wakes up every day excited for his daily life. Why? Because not only is he able to attract his greatest life desires, but he’s also able to help others see just how possible this is for them as well. You see, even when the Law of Attraction isn’t as easily recognisable as other universal laws, once you know how it works and start paying attention, you too will see that it is working all the time. And like the Law of Gravity , the Law of Attraction works whether you are paying attention to it or not. Reliably. Consistently. No matter what.

When you work on a conscious level with the Law of Attraction, you can apply it to any area of life. Be it relationships, money or career. Even your health can be improved or completely turned around using this powerful law.
